Pär Bengtsson was born and raised in Sweden, where he split his time between metropolitan Stockholm and the rocky countryside of Eksjö. There, the dual influences of Stockholm’s busy, design-rich culture and the idyllic serenity of his family’s summer farmhouse helped shape his unique photographic style.
Following an internship at Richard Avedon’s Manhattan studio, he returned to Stockholm where he worked as an editorial photographer for magazines like Elle Decor, Lantliv, etc. Life and marriage brought him to the Dallas in 2003, and he and his wife now have two children. Over the years, Pär has amassed a body of work ranging from Interiors to Food to Products. As you can see, he loves to have fun on set. (And why wouldn’t he? He’s doing what he loves!)
